Garlic Prawn Fettucini
I used to work at a Gormet Pizza bar and they had the most divine Prawn Fettucini. I have spent some time trying to perfect the recipe and finally last night i came up with something that satisfied my tastebuds. I think it is better than the one they used to serve up.
So I would like to share my recipe with you all.
Ingreedients
6 large mushrooms
1 large garlic clove
1 teaspoon butter
400 grams of peeled raw prawns
300ml lite thickened cream
Egg fettucini
Fresh parmasen cheese
Method
1. Chop garlic clove up finely
2. Peel and slice mushrooms
3. In a large frying pan, place on medium heat, once hot add butter and garlic, once butter melted add mushrooms and raw peeled prawns.
4. While waiting for prawns to cook, cook fettucini in boiling pot of water
5. Once prawns turn orange add thickened cream to frying pan and stir regularly on a low heat.
6. Once fettucini is cooked, drain and then add to the frying pan. Stir pasta into the sauce and then serve while hot.
7. Grate desired amount of parmesen on top of pasta
